David Pogue’s Best of 2005

The New York Times today features one of the gazillion end-of-2005-best-of-lists. This one is by David Pogue. I really didn’t see much of interest in the list (memory cards with USB build in, flip phones with buttons on the outside etc.). However, I really liked the first sentence:

10 Greatest Gadget Ideas of the Year – New York Times

ON New Year’s Eve, don’t be surprised to witness more heartfelt celebrating than usual; 2005 was not a year noted for its tidings of good cheer, and plenty of people will be happy to see it go.

I just find myself agreeing with that one.
