Is this really the world we live in now? A Frsico, TX art teacher was fired because she took her class to the Dallas Museum of Art and the students (I am sure among many other things) saw the statue of a nude man. Imagine the horror of that. Just imagine it. Your a fifth grader and you see a nude (lets say Greek) statue. Horror, pure horror. Who knows, you might just have to turn gay.
Now you just have to make sure your child never looks into a mirror after taking a shower.
FRISCO, Texas — An award-winning Texas art teacher who was reprimanded after one of her fifth-grade students saw a nude sculpture during a trip to a museum has lost her job.
The school board in Frisco has voted not to renew Sydney McGee’s contract after 28 years. She has been on administrative leave.

How ridiculous can you be! They see more on prime time TV with suggested ratings that parents don’t monitor! They see more on the bathroom walls at Wally’s World!
This is a cruel joke. I truly hope Ms. McGee is a card carrying member of the National Education Association because they need to take this to court so that she can retire IN STYLE!
When did art become smut? Oh yes, I’ve SEEN smut they call ART… but that is NOT what this is! Maybe this parent and school board need to lighten up! They are the ones that sound so far off the norm that THEY are perverted. Fire the teacher and you need to fire the principal who signed off on the trip… then close down the Dallas Museum of Art and certainly disband the National Endowment of the Arts.
Strong religionous nature? Probably not, for they’d be afraid to show their child any biblical figures in a loin cloth.
We have children being shot in our schools, terrorist attacking our country, and our military being blindsided in a war on terror… how did THIS make the lists of offensives?
